ABOUT
The Learning Gate was established in 1967. Since then, we have served thousands of young learners, across multiple centers in Somerset County. We are an integral part of the community and we are very passionate in our true mission of building and strengthening our neighborhoods.
Our main center is conveniently located in Raritan Borough, roughly a half mile from the train station, and only minutes from Routes 202 and 206.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide affordable, quality care to children, while fostering each child’s intellectual, social, and physical development in a stimulating and nurturing environment.
Our Staff
Our staff members are experienced, educated, and well trained. They are the pillars behind The Learning Gate and are the true reasons that parents trust us with their children.
Our Curriculum
We currently use The Creative Curriculum, which is a forward-thinking, comprehensive, research-based and research-proven curriculum resources. We believe that their approach is the best and most powerful way to improve child outcomes is through effective teaching.
We are also part of the GrowNJKids' Quality Rating Improvement System and have received a 3 star rating for our program.

Scholarships and Subsidies
Qualified families can also get help paying for tuition. The Learning Gate participates in the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) program AND offers Scholarships through outside grants.
